After consolidating its leadership in the office facade and curtain wall segment, Alusystem – part of the Bog’Art Group – is innovating within the residential aluminum joinery sector. The company has launched a new line of aluminum joinery for residential projects, offering the premium quality typical of office buildings at accessible prices, comparable to PVC joinery. To date, approximately €1 million has been invested in this new production line.
Compared to standard aluminum joinery prices, which range between €180 and €450 per sqm + VAT, Alusystem’s new residential product is priced at €150-€160 per sqm + VAT, closely matching the cost of PVC products. This allows developers to achieve significant quality advantages without increasing their joinery budgets.
“In our nearly 20 years on the market, we have differentiated ourselves through innovation and continuous development to meet the high standards of the office sector. Diversifying our portfolio with residential solutions has long been on our list of objectives; the pandemic provided the opportunity to capitalize on this and accelerate our plans. Our vision is to provide added value to residential constructions through premium quality facades without imposing higher costs on the developer or the end consumer. We estimate sales of approximately €1 million in the first year following the launch,” stated Răzvan Popa, Executive Director of Alusystem.
The new residential product incorporates the technical know-how and experience gained over decades in the office sector, utilizing innovative technologies to offer premium solutions at affordable costs. The product has been rigorously tested in laboratories to ensure maximum protection against wind and water and holds full European certification.
Alusystem currently holds approximately 85% of the facade and curtain wall market in Romania. Last year, the company recorded a turnover of €24 million, delivering over 100,000 sqm of joinery. The company is a member of the Bog’Art Group, one of Romania’s largest construction entities.
